Photo Gallery: Opening Ceremony

On June 20, 2023, the big day finally arrived: In the presence of North Rhine-Westphalia Minister of Economic Affairs Mona Neubaur, North Rhine-Westphalia Minister of Science Ina Brandes, and Mayor Andreas Wolter, we officially opened the InnoDom Cologne. Following a welcome address by Rector Prof. Dr. Axel Freimuth, founder Christoph Kahl gave an impromptu speech to the nearly 200 guests. This was followed by remarks from Mayor Andreas Wolter and architect Gerhard Wittfeld of kadawittfeldarchitektur. A highlight of the ceremony was the live panel discussion on the topic “Start-up-Friendly Universities as a Source of Start-ups.” On the first floor, several start-ups from Gateway ESC and the University of Cologne’s Sustainability Office set up information booths. An all-around successful celebration!
